Hayley Kuperholz - Founder & Educator
With a foundation in music education, I discovered a deep passion for gifted education while working as an Acceleration Program coordinator early in my teaching career. Since 2007, I have been dedicated to advocating for the needs of gifted students in both government and independent schools. Completing a Masters of Gifted Education in 2014, I have since held roles coordinating gifted and talented programs in leading Prep to Year 12 independent schools across Melbourne. I am in the process of completing a Graduate Certificate in Child and Youth Counselling to expand my skill set and better support the holistic well-being of young people.
In my work with families, I prioritise providing personalised support tailored to each families unique needs. By identifying key areas of concern and desired outcomes, my aim is to empower families in navigating the intricate landscape of giftedness. In school settings, my focus is on assisting schools in achieving optimal educational outcomes for their gifted students.
Though my extensive experience working in a school setting, I have seen the immense potential of young individuals and how they can thrive when given the right opportunities. This experience drives my dedication to advocate for gifted learners, as a group who are often misunderstood and misrepresented. My goal is to make a positive impact by offering a unique service which fills in a much-needed gap in the field of gifted education.
With a deep commitment to empowering gifted learners, their families and teachers, I strive to create the perfect 'flow state' where potential is nurtured, motivation is high, and success is experienced. Drawing from Csikszentmihalyi's research, I believe that when skill and challenge are in balance, children will excel and find joy in their learning.
